Philippines storm death toll climbs to 133


It's the latest disaster to hit the Philippines , which is battered by about 20 typhoons and storms each year, making the archipelago that lies on the Pacific typhoon belt one of the world's most disaster-prone countries. Saudis intercept another missile fired by Yemen rebels


Saudi Arabia and the United States have accused Iran of supplying weapons to the Houthi rebels, and Riyadh described the latest missile as "Iranian-Houthi". The missile was intercepted by the Saudi-led coalition before any damage could be done. The UAE, however, denied that a missile had been fired. Seventy firefighters tackling huge fire at London Zoo café and shop


Zoo officials initially said Saturday morning "it is not believed" animals were hurt after the blaze broke out in a zoo cafe near an animal petting area, but later reports suggested at least one animal may be missing. At this stage the cause of the fire is unknown and there has been no comment to say whether any animals or people have been harmed. Philippines tropical storm toll climbs to 30


Tropical storm Tembin has weakened after hitting land on the island of Mindanao. Storm Tembin brought flash flooding and mudslides to parts of the island of Mindanao. Eight other people were killed by floods elsewhere on Lanao del Sur province, Pacasum said.
