Stabbing at MI airport an act of terror, says Federal Bureau of Investigation


Ftouhi, described by police as having a "hatred for the United States", is accused of stabbing airport officer Jeff Neville in the neck with a 12-inch knife in the public area of the airport. The CCTV footages collected from the Airport shows Ftouhi arriving on Wednesday morning, spending time on the first floor and later going to a restaurant on the second floor after which he emerged from the restroom with a knife, stabbing Officer Neville in his neck. Brush Fire North Of Phoenix Closes 11 Miles Of Interstate 17

Lake County Sheriff's officer indicted for rape of co-worker

In a news release, Indiana State Police say a Lake County grand jury indicted 34-year-old Nicholas Medarno of Crown Point on Thursday. The complainant was a co-worker of the officer, the release said. It alleges the incidents occurred between January 2013 and November 2014. See smoke? It's probably from a fire in Utah


Smoke continues to drift into western Colorado from active wildfires in southwestern Colorado and southwestern Utah. The forecast for Grand Junction and Rifle called for areas of smoke on Thursday. Winds have been from the west but were expected to shift to the northwest as a cold front moved through, Lyons said.
