New flu cases still rising in area

According to the CT Department of Public Health, there have been almost 3,000 positive cases of flu with 802 of them in New Haven County. Officials said there had been a marked increase in flu activity since mid to late December. As a result, the current flu vaccine, developed early previous year, has been less effective than usual. Hacking suspect Lauri Love wins extradition appeal
