12-year-old boy steals parents' credit card, flies to Bali alone

Escaping to Bali after an argument with your mom might be every teenager's dream.

Anyone under the age of 18 years of age who travels in Australia without a parent or relative who is 21 years or older is considered an "unaccompanied minor" according to the country's Department of Home Affairs website.

A 12-year-old Australian boy has pulled off a bold feat that is drawing global headlines: He stole his mom's credit card and managed to fly to Bali, Indonesia, for a posh, four-day vacation before getting caught, reports 9 News.

Drew (not his real name) borrowed the family credit cards and conned his nan into giving him his passport.

By the time his parents had reported him missing when he didn't show up for school, he was already living the luxury life.at the four-star All Seasons Hotel. He told staff that it will soon be joined by older sister and checked in to our room, where he lived for four days.
