Vanes was ordered to take part in a WBC junior middleweight final eliminator, but the contest never got off the ground because numerous opponents turned him down to fight.

The hearing panel voted to hand down a one-year ban, reduced to six months because Alvarez had cooperated with their investigation.

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. believes Canelo Alvarez is using performance enhancing drugs rather than a case of meat contamination. Why should we allow others to do it and keep that respect?

Alvarez and members of Golden Boy Promotions were not present at the hearing, but the boxer denied over the phone intentionally taking the banned substance clenbuterol.

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput to become parents again
On the work front, Shahid is shooting for Batti Gul Metre Chalu where he will be seen alongside Yami Gautam and Shraddha Kapoor. People have been assuming that Mira is pregnant again thanks to all the flowy dresses and palazzo trousers she had been wearing.

It could have been much worse for Alvarez and the fact that the suspension will on the 17th of February - the date that he tested positive for the drug - means that he will be able to fight again by the middle of August.

"This is a way for Canelo to clean up his image, now he has to take advantage of this to defend his cleanliness despite the damage done, he must continue to produce negative test results and demonstrate that he is a clean fighter".

Canelo was expected to face Gennady Golovkin in a middleweight title rematch May 5 for the latter's World Boxing Association, World Boxing Council, International Boxing Federation (IBF), and International Boxing Organization titles.

A match could be rescheduled for mid-September should Golovkin defeat replacement box Vanes Martirosyan. "Canelo and Golden Boy Promotions respect the rules of Nevada and are therefore satisfied with the settlement agreement reached today", Golden Boy Promotions said in a statement issued after the meeting.

"Canelo looks forward to returning to the ring in September for Mexican Independence Day weekend to represent Mexico and boxing in what will be the sport's biggest event of the year".

"Right now, we're focused on May 5", Loeffler said. Gennady set the attendance record for boxing at StubHub in 2014 and we project to shatter that record on May 5.
