Devs Explain Why PUBG Map Selection Feature Took So Long

In the absence of an official map selection tool, players had taken extreme measures to ensure they only got to play on their preferred map by deleting crucial game files that would cause the client to crash if the map they didn't want was loaded. A large number of people hate the map, so matches on Miramar frequently suffer from large number of player disconnects at the start.
