Samsung is expected to launch its next-gen Galaxy Note 9 flagship sometime this fall. According to the tweet, the upcoming Note 9 will be codenamed Crown.

It has previously been reported that LG would also manufacture displays for the 2018 iPhone lineup, but it appears the company is not yet capable of reaching Apple's high demand, hence the reason Samsung is instead set to become the sole OLED display provider once again.

Huawei's recently announced P20 Pro also features a 4,000 mAh battery with this latest device being applauded in reviews for its ability to last long into a second day without needing to be charged.

Separately, MobielKopen has spotted a patent filed by Samsung in China that describes a display notch similar to iPhone X. The top notch allows for more usable screen space. The motherboard will carry the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 845 SOC along with 6GB or 8GB of RAM.

Samsung has done a wonderful job of keeping the Galaxy Note 9 under the wraps, but the rumors have still surfaced and continue to do so.

Along with this bigger battery another rumour doing the rounds is that Samsung will also increase the size of the display from 6.3-inches to 6.4-inches. This means that the Note 9 will be the first Samsung device from Samsung to offer such a feature. Samsung is expected to include the super slo-mo and variable aperture features in Note 9 that it introduced with the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. Some details about the Galaxy Note 9 have surfaced online and a report by popular leaker Evan Blass reveals the codename the flagship device will carry.

While it's still not confirmed, Samsung is likely to launch the Galaxy Note 9 as early as July or August. However, the dual camera as well as the S Pen will be improved.
