Broncos to release CJ Anderson, according to multiple reports

With Anderson gone, only Devontae Booker and De'Angelo Henderson remain on the Denver roster as recognized running backs.

The Denver Broncos have released veteran running back C.J. Anderson, according to multiple reports. And the Broncos will save every penny of that $4.5 million by cutting Anderson, per Spotrac.

The Broncos are widely expected to look for a running back at this month's draft. Like I said, we're looking at every option that we can and where our football team is.

Anderson, 27, spent his first five years in the league with the Broncos after going undrafted in 2013.
