K Ravindra Reddy, the special National Investigation Agency (NIA) judge who pronounced the judgment in the Mecca Masjid case, resigned on Monday, citing personal reasons. CBI took over the case in June 2007 and it was transferred to the NIA in April 2011. The premier investigation agency had filed the charge sheet.
