Jackson and Olding understood to be leaving Ulster Rugby

Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding have had their Ireland and Ulster contracts terminated, following a review of the recent trial in which they were acquitted of rape charges.

A jury of eight men and three women found Mr Jackson (26) and Mr Olding (25) unanimously not guilty of rape after deliberating for three hours and 45 minutes after a marathon nine-week trial at Belfast Crown Court.

The 26-year-old was found not guilty but on Saturday had his IRFU and Ulster contract revoked following an internal review.
