Ronda Rousey really doesn't like the word retirement, but by all accounts - even her own - she's put her fighting career behind her once and for all.
While it's obviously disappointing for anyone who bought tickets for the Raw events to see Rousey, her absence can actually be a blessing for the company in one way.
YouTube Goes Dark on Mobile Devices
The folks over at The Verge report Google plans to introduce the dark mode to the Android version of YouTube "soon". To access the new theme, tap your account icon on the top right, select " Settings ", then select "Dark Theme".
Ronda Rousey recently signed her WWE contract at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, and shortly after it was announced that Rousey would be appearing at every episode of Monday Night Raw leading up to WrestleMania 34, but Rousey didn't appear on this week's episode.
The Jets just can't get enough Josh McCown
ESPN also first reported Tuesday that the Jets and former Browns running back Isaiah Crowell were in contract discussions. The Jets are a flawless team for Bridgewater to re-establish himself as an National Football League quarterback.
The signing was a long time coming. Rousey then talked about how hard it was to arrive in Florida in January for the Royal Rumble to make her surprise debut.
"It's not fake fighting, it's scripted". "I think it's just as likely as me going back to another Olympics for judo", she said. Rousey's last fight in UFC, which she lost, was against Amanda Nunes in 2016. She became the UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion and went on a 12-fight undefeated streak before losing to Holly Holm in 2015.
Tiger Woods and Ernie Els to duel at 2019 Presidents Cup
Woods and Els have agreed to skipper their sides in Melbourne, Australia, according to two people involved in the Presidents Cup. Els, a four-time major victor , takes over from Nick Price who has guided the Internationals at the last three Presidents Cups.
However, by not putting her foot down and definitively saying she's officially done with MMA, Rousey kept the door open for a dramatic move from the WWE back to the UFC. WWE legends Brock Lesnar and CM Punk both made the journey - with varying degrees of success - so it isn't beyond the realm of possibility that the 31-year-old Rousey could one day do the same.
