Apple's WWDC 2018 kicks off June 4
It's the second year in a row that Apple has used the facility; in previous years, the event had been staged in San Francisco. While iPhone and Mac may be the most focused-on platforms, that's not to say WWDC will concern itself exclusively with them.

Also joining the cast are Leslie Odom Jr, Tituss Burgess, Stanley Tucci, Daveed Diggs and Kathryn Hahn.

Bloys said Netflix's volume demands explained the company's recent mega-deals with Ryan Murphy and Shonda Rhimes. Those who have stuck with Game of Thrones for seven seasons will know that it is unlikely to end happily.

Already greenlit for two seasons, the series will follow a family of caretakers that work and live in the famous NY landmark.

Apple has already committed to a two-season pickup for Central Park, not unlike what Netflix recently did when they managed to snag the Riverdale spinoff Sabrina from Warner Bros. The vast majority of the studio's animated shows to date have been for sibling broadcast network Fox.
