Emily Glass tells police she awoke from a nap and realized her 5-year-old stepson was missing from their Wichita, Kansas, home, but the 26-year-old woman waited hours before calling 911 for help.
Wichita police said 26-year old Emily Glass was arrested for child endangerment as they continue to look for Lucas Hernandez. "The charges are related to new information gathered during this investigation", Deputy Police Chief Gavin Seiler said Wednesday afternoon.
"Officers and investigators have been working on this case non-stop", he added.

Apple Releases 3rd betas of iOS 11.3 with New Animoji's & AML support
In the third beta of iOS 11.3 and tvOS 11.3, Apple has apparently removed all those features and settings completely. For the benefit of the public, Apple did not specify the exact character that is causing the problem.
Lucas disappeared from his Wichita, Kansas, home around 3 p.m. on Saturday, police said. The agency has not said whether or not they had contact with the family.
Hernandez's biological mother, who lost custody of the child when he was six months old, had not seen her son since December 2017. She said they told her they saw more signs of abuse and reported them to authorities in New Mexico.
She reported the marks to Child Protective Services, and made another report in November when Lucas and his father, Johnathan Hernandez, visited her.
She emphasized that she did not believe it was the father abusing his son but rather that the abuse was from Lucas' stepmother.

Authorities wouldn't confirm they received reports of abuse.
The boy's great-aunt Sally Rasmussen told ABC News Tuesday she reported possible child abuse to Kansas Child Protective Services in May previous year after seeing a photo of Lucas where it appeared he had injury marks. Officer Charley Davidson with the Wichita Police Department said Tuesday morning that about 100 law enforcement officials are helping in the search for Lucas.
Lucas has brown hair and eyes, and weighs about 60 pounds. He was last seen wearing black sweats, white socks and a gray shirt with a bear on it.
