The actor's 2-year-old son, Henry, died in January after a brain tumor diagnosis in 2016.
In a heartbreaking Facebook post, the comedian and Catastrophe star said that Henry was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2016 and had surgery to remove it in early 2017. What then followed was persistent vomiting and weight loss.
In his post, Delaney also thanked the nurses, doctors and hospital staff for helping Henry throughout his treatment. "He was smart, amusing mischievous and we had so many wonderful adventures together, particularly after he'd moved home following fifteen months living in hospitals ..."
Calling the NHS nurses and staff who treated his son as heroes, he urged people to donate to United Kingdom charities for sick children in Henry's name.
