Amazon is making a TV series of Conan the Barbarian from the director of Game of Thrones. Fredrik Malmberg and Mark Wheeler will executive produce as well through Pathfinder Media. Lovecraft. Sapochnik is reportedly a longtime fan of Conan the Barbarian, which led to his teaming up with Conadal, who has been nursing a "personal obsession" with the material, according to Deadline. There are unfinished stories as well. Jason Momoa, who played Conan in a 2011 movie, will presumably not be involved. There have also been two animated TV shows based on the character and a short-lived 1997 syndicated action-adventure series, Conan the Adventurer, starring Ralf Möller.
