Gary Lineker reacts to reports Man United want Mkhitaryan-Sanchez swap deal

Reports have been circulating claiming Man United rivals Manchester City have ended their interest in signing the Chilean who has been linked with a move to the Etihad since past year.

"It's not a problem, it's not a problem", the former Scotland worldwide said. "Apart from that, he is an Arsenal player and I feel I shouldn't say much more than this".

The Premier League leaders feel the overall price for signing the Chile forward this month - transfer fee, agent costs and wage demands - is now too high and must come down.

"He's a great player and he knows very well that in my first season in Juventus we tried to buy him from Udinese and then he chose to go to Udinese", said Conte.

Spain condemns new settlement construction plan in West Bank
He said he also invited President Abbas to visit Ireland, and assured him that he would receive a warm welcome from the Irish people.

"He is a left-footed player who plays on the right-hand side with a lot of pace, he is very direct, a very good dribbler and very, very fast so we'll see".

Manchester City forward Leroy Sane has insisted he has nothing to fear from a potential move for Alexis Sanchez.

With Man City, off the table, however, Man United would have a free run at trying to convince Sanchez to join them this month.

However, Sanchez has created more chances than the City youngster this season with 2.99, only being let down by his teammates inability to score goals, while Sane has the privilege of playing with Aguero and Jesus.

While Sanchez is an extraordinary player, there aren't many footballers in the world as gifted as Ozil when he's at his best.

The former Arsenal forward told Sky Sports: "It's a big gamble what Jose's done with Alexis Sanchez, by going "I want Sanchez". The players have two choices: Follow what you [the media] say, or follow me. "I'm focused on Liverpool".

"Alexis is an exceptional football player, he's a world-class player and if that happens (he leaves) we have to find a different balance in the team".

"But Henrikh is a very good player, he played in our last game and, assuming he trains normally at the weekend, he will be selected to play on Monday".
