Zidane insists struggling Real and Ronaldo are 'not that bad'

Real Madrid lost 1-0 at home to Villarreal as pressure mounted on coach Zinedine Zidane.

Real Madrid continued their poor results in the Spanish League this season, as they achieved only one point from the last three games.

Pablo Fornals netted Villarreal's victor in the 87th minute, prompting loud boos by the home crowd which three days ago saw their team draw with second-division club Numancia 2-2 in the Copa del Rey.

The home side created multiple chances in the opening period, but were denied repeatedly by visiting goalkeeper Sergio Asenjo, as well as the linesman who ruled out Gareth Bale's converted header for offside.

Eagle sees Harman take three-shot lead
But things were about to take a turn for the worse as he pulled his tee shot left and hit a tree just 220 metres off the tee. He trailed the No. 1 player by two shots on Sunday. "My swing kind of felt better and better as the day went on".

As the home side poured forward in search of a victor, they were caught on the break; Fornals chipping in the rebound after Keylor Navas saved from Eres Unal.

Worrying times for Real Madrid and questions could soon start to be asked about the future of Zidane! 'I can not think two or three years down the line, as I know how it is here, even having a contract, which means nothing.

"I am exhausted of hearing that Real Madrid are bad, it is easy to say that everything is bad but you know that everything is not negative here", Zidane told a press conference.

Real Madrid, the defending La Liga champions, are now fourth, 16 points behind leaders Barcelona. There is also a clear lack of ideas from Zidane himself as to how he might himself change things and get the team playing well again.

Antonio Conte tells Jose Mourinho feel of 'contempt' is mutual
But feelings were really stirred up on January 4, when Mourinho said he did not "behave as a clown on the touchline". You never know in football, after all. "Then I asked for a retrial by court and then they declared it nonsense".

'We have to be smart in our judgement because they are the same players, the same trainer and the same philosophy'.

Madrid also drew at Celta Vigo 2-2 a week ago, and lost to Barcelona 3-0 at the Bernabeu in its last match past year.

Villarreal slowly grew into the game as the second half progressed and capitalised on Real's desperation to try and win the game by outnumbering Zidane's side on the break after clearing Toni Kroos's corner.

Later on Saturday, second-placed Atletico Madrid play away to Eibar while third-placed Valencia visit Deportivo La Coruna.

Eagles vs Falcons, Patriots vs Titans
The 29-year-old Murray sat out the Titans' 22-21 road victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday in a wild-card game. The Patriots were off last week after clinching the #1 seed in the AFC, but there was still news out of the Northeast.

At the other end of the table, basement club Las Palmas were hammered 6-0 by Liga debutants Girona, while 19th-placed Malaga sacked hapless coach Michel a day after Friday's 1-0 defeat at Getafe, a fourth consecutive loss in the league.
