FO lodged protest to Indian deputy high commissioner over ceasefire violation

13 January 2018

Director general (South Asia and SAARC) Mohammad Faisal summoned the acting Indian deputy high commissioner and "condemned the unprovoked ceasefire violations" by Indian forces on 11 January, the statement said.

"The threatening and irresponsible statement by the Indian Army Chief today is representative of a sinister mindset that has taken hold of India".

The DG ISPR added that Pakistan has a credible nuclear capability which is only meant for this threat in particular. If we will have to really confront, and a task is given to us, we are not going to say we can not cross the border because they have nuclear weapons.

He is a strong, athletic small forward, who can really shoot the ball and rebound. "I don't know anything about it", he added. Bowen, per NCAA transfer rules, must sit two semesters before becoming eligible for the Gamecocks.

Apart from Pakistan, five other teams are participating in the tournament, namely Egypt, India, Nigeria, Morocco and U.S., it added.

Major General Asif Ghafoor has termed statement of Indian army chief against Pakistan as irresponsible. "We will have to call their nuclear bluff", Rawat said at a press conference on Wednesday.

Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif on Saturday said that India may test Pakistan's resolve if that is what it wishes to do. "But we believe it's a weapon of deterrence, not a choice".

Q2 Weather: Warmer! ...for now
Light freezing rain continued to fall at 6 Philadelphia International Airport, which reported delays and cancellations. The combination of snow and ice will result in hard travel conditions, potentially for both the morning and evening commutes.

"The only thing stopping them is our credible nuclear deterrence as there is no space for war between the two nuclear states", he said.

The ISPR chief said Pakistan is a responsible nuclear state with a professional army, therefore India "must not remain in illusion".

"That's why they are targeting us through sub conventional threat and state sponsored terrorism". General Rawat was responding to a question on the possibility of Pakistan using its nuclear weapon should the situation along the border deteriorate.
