The planet of Krypton is in danger of being destroyed, but it's too early for everything to end for its people.

Our first solid look at Syfy's long-in-the-works Superman prequel Krypton is finally here - and it's a suitably odd for a look at Superman's homeworld before it got turned into millions of tiny little pieces.

So Krypton follows Supermans gramps trying to restore the family of El's name when a stranger from the future informs him that DC's answer to the Borg, Brainiac, is on the way to kill him so Superman can never be born.

Former Google engineer fired over gender memo sues for discrimination
Damore, 28, says he submitted early versions of his memo to Google's human resources department without being reprimanded. In an August 4 email included in Damore's lawsuit , a Google engineer wrote, "You're a misogynist and a awful person".

Based on DC Comics characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, Krypton is set two generations before the destruction of the legendary Man of Steel's home planet.

Developed by David S. Goyer and Damian Kindler, Krypton premieres March 21 on SYFY.

Every Krypton trailer so far has pushed the same story: Seg-El needs to protect Superman's legacy. Plus, the relationship between the El and Zod families before the Phantom Zone was a touchy subject among them (or maybe it always was); Seg-El enters into a forbidden relationship with Lyta Zod (Georgina Campbell) that would make Will Shakespeare weak at the knees. We get to tell a more sophisticated and emotionally compelling story.

The search was extremely hard because no transmissions were received from the aircraft after its first 38 minutes of flight.

The TV series is inspired by classic comic book stories including "All-Star Superman", "Superman: "The Animated Series", and:Superman: "Secret Origins". In fact, it's even possible that they introduce their own Doomsday, hopefully, one that is more menacing and useful than the huge CGI monster we have seen in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

"Krypton" is produced by Warner Horizon Television.

Speaking at the 2018 TCAs (via Syfy), folks behind the new series such as showrunner Cameron Welsh, executive producers Goyer and Geoff Johns, plus lead star Cuffe teased about what we can expect from Krypton. Rounding out the cast are Rasmus Hardiker as Kem, Wallis Day as Nyssa-Vex, Aaron Pierre as Dev-Em, Paula Malcolmson as Charys-El, and Blake Ritson as Vril Dox.

This was driven by the Grocery business, where the Taste the Difference and 25p veg lines were singled out as strong performers. Sainsbury's did not break down the separate like-for-like sales performances of its supermarket and Argos businesses.
