Warner Bros.is planning a shakeup and restructuring of its DC films operation following the box office disappointment of "Justice League", Variety has learned.

The first step in the so-called "shake-up" regards Jon Berg, who now heads up the production division of the DC Extended Universe.

Warner Bros.in 2016 named Berg to lead the newly created label DC Films with DC Entertainment chief creative officer Geoff Johns in a move meant to improve the company's superhero films.

Many on both sides have decided a headline-grabbing federal closure would be a political blunder, at least for now. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said at a press conference on Thursday that it is one of the party's priorities.

He has joined Lego Movie producer Roy Lee's production banner, which is based on the studio's Burbank lot. Meanwhile, Berg's replacement is still being discussed, as is the future of the franchise.

Jon Berg will be leaving his current job running the comic book's film production division, according to several sources with knowledge of the studio's plans.

"This is something that Jon approached me about six months ago, and he expressed his goal was to ultimately be a producer at the studio", Emmerich said in a statement. The DC unit will get a new leader and will be folded into the motion-picture division led by Toby Emmerich, a person familiar with the matter said. Going forward, his contributions to the films may evolve, and could be more advisory in nature. The film was meant to be DC's answer to Marvel's "Avengers", uniting the likes of Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman under the banner of a team of world-saving superheroes. Warner Bros. reportedly believes that there is only one redeeming quality of Justice League: the introduction of the Flash (Ezra Miller) and Aquaman (Jason Momoa) to the silver screen. The studio was concerned that each subsequent film was making less money than its predecessor, and they'd noticed that the Man of Steel director was persisting with an overtly dark tone.

According to McKinnon, she and fellow SNL amusing lady Aidy Bryant quickly understood Gadot's essence. After a lengthy, passionate smooch, " Wonder Woman " declared, "I'm sorry I feel nothing".

The article goes on to suggest other contributing factors towards the reshuffle, and that in all likelihood Zack Snyder will not direct another DC movie.

Further changes include that it's likely Ben Affleck's last appearance as Batman will be in the upcoming movie for The Flash, with it also said Matt Reeves wants to cast the new Batman with fresh talent as well for his solo flick.
