Everton's incredible team news for Apollon Limassol clash

Sam Allardyce will miss Everton's Europa League tie against Apollon Limassol in Cyprus on Thursday due to a "pre-arranged medical appointment".

With little riding on the match- Everton, being bottom of Group E, can not progress- and Premier League performances privileged, assistant manager Craig Shakespeare will be joined by Duncan Ferguson in leading a shadow team in Cyprus.

Safe to say, Everton's eyes are firmly on the Merseyside derby this weekend.

76ers Finally Trade Jahlil Okafor
Okafor has received very little playing time in Philly over the last two seasons. Looks like Jahlil Okafor is getting his wish.

And so, a much-changed Everton side will take to the field for their last game in European competition this season.

Ireland-qualified centre-half Michael Collins, 17, and Polish-born former Shelbourne keeper Mateusz Hewelt, 21, are also on the bench.

Northern Ireland Under 21 worldwide Shayne Lavery has been named on the bench for Everton's final Europa League group game this evening.

The Toffees named a younger starting line-up against BATE Borisov in 2009 when their place in the last 32 had already been assured, and while they selected a youthful team this time because they had already been eliminated, a win meant they at least avoided finishing bottom.

Joel Robles, Morgan Schneiderlin, Davy Klaassen, Muhamed Besic, Kevin Mirallas, Nikola Vlasic, Ademola Lookman and Beni Baningime are reportedly the only senior players involved, meaning there could be as many as eight debutants.

Everton have a long way to go before they can compete with Liverpool, both on the pitch and financially. Congratulations to Harry Charsley and Fraser Hornby!

Reed told Atlanta Black Star it was timing that led her to respond the way she did - right then and there during election night. But Reed has no regrets, except not telling her crew to show the full email.

The chances of that record improving here appear slim given the under-strength squad sent out to Cyprus, and the attention being paid to Sunday's Merseyside derby at Anfield.
