Ronda Rousey 'Finalizing' A Signing With WWE

07 December 2017

The mixed martial arts star has always been rumored to make the move to professional wrestling after her UFC career seemingly ended when she was knocked out by Amanda Nunes inside 48 seconds in December 2016. Furthermore, she isn't just an attraction as a former UFC star, because, again, she does love pro wrestling and knows plenty about it.

At that time, Rousey staged an "altercation" with WWE superstars Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and Bayley while standing alongside her real life friends Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir.

Reports from USA Today on Wednesday came out that stated that Rousey is the final stages of completing a deal with the WWE, so the potential first chapter of this possible eight-women encounter is on the horizon. Following the two losses to Nunes, UFC president Dana White has been vocal about his opposition to Rousey's return.

Pentagon: Four times as many U.S. troops in Syria than previously acknowledged
It's merely a long-delayed confirmation that the troop numbers the Pentagon had been citing were inaccurate. Some 3,000 IS fighters remain distributed between Iraq and Syria, according to coalition estimates.

That led to speculation that an official appearance is imminent, perhaps at Wrestlemania 34 in New Orleans on April 8.

Ronda Rousey is reportedly finalizing a deal with WWE that should be revealed in the immediate future.

"I wouldn't want to see it".

Emotional Taggart set for 'dream job' with Florida State
He said, 'I don't want to leave, Dad, but if you're going to chase your dreams, then I'm going to ride with you'. I wanted to come here and play. "But no matter where I went, the Seminoles were still always a part of me".

Baszler began her MMA career in 2003 and has competed in a total of 26 fights with a record of 15-11. She could feasibly become a great pro wrestler in the ring, and based on how genuine she is in interviews, Rousey could easily be a relatable character in WWE as either a heel or babyface. But it sounds like we haven't seen the last of her in combat.

Rousey, who hasn't had an MMA fight since December 2016, has offered indications that she was interested in the WWE. Back in September, Rousey and Charlotte Flair had a bit of a run-in that culminated in Rousey growling: " "You name the time. Meanwhile, she has appeared this year on NBC's "Blindspot", and is filming scenes for a Mark Wahlberg movie called "Mile 22".

If WWE didn't want to wait until WrestleMania 34 on April 8, then Rousey could appear at the 2018 Royal Rumble on January 28 at the Wells Fargo Center. Even after her loss to Nunes, she's still one of the most widely-known talents from the UFC world.
