NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell Reportedly Inks Contract Extension

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had been fighting to prevent, or at least delay, Goodell's contract extension but he apparently didn't have almost enough support from his fellow owners.

The NFL's Compensation Committee has "executed" a new contract for Commissioner Roger Goodell, according to Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio. The war began after Goodell slapped Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott with a six-game suspension after he was accused of domestic violence by an ex-girlfriend.
