Children shot an Northern California elementary school

At least three people are dead after a shooting at Rancho Tehama Tuesday morning. The gunman was shot and killed by police, according to reporters on the scene. "Multiple students" were airlifted from the scene, with a 6-year-old reportedly among the injured.

Authorities say the school has now been cleared and the children moved to a safe location.

A six year-old child with two gunshot wounds was reportedly transported by helicopter to a hospital.

The tensions triggered by North Korea's missile tests were not mentioned during the opening statements of Duterte and Moon. Still, the Chinese President said that he is looking forward to a responsible act of the South Korean government.

The violence started at a home and moved to Tehama Elementary School.

Police say students at Rancho Tehama Elementary on Stagecoach Road, located about 20 miles southwest of Red Bluff, are being evacuated to Rancho Tehama Recreation Hall where parents can pick them up.

KCRA reports officers are investigating at least five scenes in the school and the surrounding area.

According to KRCR TV, a witness identified only as Tiffany, who operates the nearby Coffee Addiction Coffee Shop, said she heard about 90-100 shots fired.
