The teenager apprehended by the CBI in connection with the murder of Ryan International School student Pradyuman had apparently come under the scanner of the agency within six days of it taking over the case. He will be at the observation home till November 22, which is also the date of next hearing, Sandeep Aneja, lawyer of the accused minor said.
The CBI said that the class X1 student committed the crime to get the parent-teacher meeting (PTA) and an examination postponed. He saw Pradyuman entering the school premises and he took him to the washroom on some pretext, stood behind him and then slit his throat.

Meanwhile, the father of the accused claimed that his son was being tortured. He was hung upside down and brutally thrashed. "You think a 16-year-old can murder someone and sit normally at home and behave normally for two months without anyone knowing about what he has done", said the father of the child.He stated that they have been cooperating with the officials during the investigation.
Rubbishing the CBI's findings, the juvenile's father maintained that his son was blameless and alleged that the agency was victimizing his family. CBI didn't deny the possibility of a few other people involved in the crime but have so far not apprehended anyone.
