Trump Questions NBC's TV License Over A News Story

The president may be unaware but he does not have the power to revoke the licenses of news networks.

"With all of the Fake News coming out of NBC and the Networks, at what point is it appropriate to challenge their License?" Wednesday morning, after NBC News reported that Trump had alarmed members of his administration by requesting a tenfold increase in the USA nuclear arsenal - which he categorically denied as "pure fiction" and "fake news" - he had tweeted that it may be "appropriate" to challenge network news licenses. News later followed up with a report that Tillerson called Trump a "moron" following a meeting at which Trump said he wanted to significantly build up the US nuclear arsenal.

The story cited three officials who were reportedly in the room when Mr Trump made the comments.
