Amazon Studio chief Roy Price was put on an immediate leave of absence Thursday, the company said, following allegations that he harassed a producer and ignored an actress's claim of a sexual assault by producer Harvey Weinstein. Price is the president of Amazon Studios, a division of Amazon that focuses on TV shows and films.
"Roy Price is on leave of absence effective immediately", and Amazon spokesperson told Variety Thursday.
In the wake of the Weinstein scandal, Hackett has now gone on the record with The Hollywood Reporter to reveal that Price allegedly made inappropriate remarks to her during San Diego Comic-Con.

The development comes as reports surfaced that Price had harassedIsa Hackett, who is one of the executive producers of the Amazon original series "The Man in the High Castle".
Hackett claimed Price did not stop once they arrived at the party and even approached her and loudly said, "Anal sex!" in her ear.
Amazon did not respond to multiple requests for comment regarding McGowan's claims.

"While her story is not on the same level as the claims of rape leveled at Weinstein, she nonetheless has made a decision to detail the encounter after hearing the recent stories of other women in Hollywood". "As somebody with some power, I feel it is imperative for me to speak out".
In a statement to the Hollywood Reporter about Hackett's allegations, the company said, "We take seriously any questions about the conduct of our employees". She said one thing that can help change the "culture of harassment" in Hollywood is "an infusion of new and diverse leadership, not just including women but gay people, people of color, people with disabilities - people with the full spectrum of life experience".
Following her complaint, Hackett continued to work on her two Amazon shows - both of which are based on the works of her father, Philip K. Dick - including the upcoming Electric Dreams. The executive also faced pressure over a lack of hit Amazon original series.
