Walt Disney Animation Studios has pulled the plug on very big, its long-announced Jack And The Beanstalk-inspired movie.
Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios has put an upcoming fairy tale adaptation on the shelf. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney's updated take on Jack and the Beanstalk was removed from the studio's release schedule following what is said to be "creative hurdles".
Quietly launched a few years ago as Giants, but then formally announced as huge at the D23 convention in 2015, the film was to have been directed by Tangled's Nathan Greno and Inside Out co-writer Meg LeFauve, with songs in the works from Frozen duo Robert Lopez and Kirsten Anderson-Lopez.
