At least four people have died after a crash involving several vehicles, including a lorry, on the M5 motorway.
The collision took place around 2:30 p.m. (1330 GMT) in south Gloucestershire, prompting the motorway to be shut in both directions.
Four people are believed to have died and a number of others have been taken to hospitals in the Bristol area.
Several vehicles were involved, including a lorry. One was absolutely destroyed and another had flipped over, according an eyewitness.

The M5 is still closed northbound between J16 and 14.
