Hazard poised for Chelsea return

09 September 2017

Antonio Conte is still unsure if Chelsea had a good summer transfer window, after previously being frustrated with a lack of activity at the club.

Antonio Conte has confirmed that Eden Hazard is in the Chelsea squad to face Leicester this weekend after recovering from an ankle fracture.

Hazard played 93 minutes for the Belgian national side during the recent round of worldwide games as he continues to work on his fitness levels.

"Now he (Eden Hazard) is available, he is in the list for the squad".

But Conte was confident that all the hard work he was able to put in on the training ground in his first campaign meant his ideas were now firmly embedded in his players' minds.

NOLA among cities in United Bid to host 2026 FIFA World Cup
Edmonton is included on the 41 city list, along with the Canadian cities of Montreal, Ottawa, Regina, Toronto and Vancouver. The United Bid Committee will review all bid submissions and release an initial shortlist of cities later this Fall.

"I think that, if you have a programme and a plan, and this plan is very clear, it's not important to wait until the end of the window to sell your players".

Kante and Drinkwater were key components of Leicester's fairytale title triumph two years ago and Conte said: "Together with N'Golo he won the league".

"About this issue, I think it's ridiculous what I read so I stop". "I think now I can count on him for sure".

Conte also revealed that deadline day signings Danny Drinkwater and Davide Zappacosta are also available for selection.

The Foxes did manage to hold on to Riyad Mahrez during the transfer window and he could feature, although Adrien Silva's proposed transfer from Sporting Lisbon remains up in the air.

Del Potro takes 1st set from Nadal in US Open
Nadal admits that "Juan Martin is a top player". "This means the world to me, I'm so happy to be here". Now I just really need to recover and go back to the practice courts and hopefully just finish strong.

Some reports suggested that the player had even undergone a medical at the club before making a U-turn on his decision, while others said that he had driven to London before deciding to stay with the Toffees. Don't forget, Eden is an important player for us.

"We are working with him and trying to make him in the best physical condition, this week he improved a lot". Zappacosta didn't make the final squad and it wasn't until after Conte had left the national team that he got his debut, though.

"Before giving my opinion I try to take my information about the player, if he has the right experience and character for the club".

From a Chelsea perspective, we couldn't have been given any better news.
