13 August 2017

At least 30 passengers travelling in two Himachal roadway buses are feared killed in massive landslide on Mandi Pathankot National Highway.

Army soldiers and rescue workers on Sunday pulled out six bodies from two buses that were covered in mud after a landslide triggered by heavy monsoon rain in north India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he was "pained by the loss of lives" and added that the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) is going to Mandi to take part in the rescue and relief operations.

He retired both batters he faced to protect the lead. "It's tough to swallow, those kind, especially when you need to win games". Justin Upton showed off some of that power Saturday with a walk-off two-run homer to give the Tigers a 12-11 win over the Twins.

The landslide happened at Kotrupi, 220 kilometres from Shimla.

At least 44 passengers died after a bus carrying them turned turtle and fell into River Tons in Himachal Pradesh's Gumma on Wednesday. A four-storey building too collapsed while several other houses were partly damaged in the landslide.

Following the incident, the National Highway 21 from Mandi to Aut has been closed due to the threat of landslides. He will visit the accident site and review the situation.
