Elon Musk's AI Just "Wiped Out" World's Best DOTA 2 Players

In the lead up to real life morphing into The Matrix, an AI (funded by an Elon Musk startup) just beat the tar out of some of the world's best Dota 2 players. It had announced putting its AI against the top human competitors.

He also emphasized upon the fact that over the course of the event, the AI had improved its skills by matching up against a number of professional Dota 2 players.

With its victory over Dendi, the DOTA 2-playing AI remains unbeaten against many top professional players, including SumaiL, the world's top 1-on-1 player, and Arteezy, the world's top overall player. Afterwards, Dendi admitted he was surprised at how easily the bot beat a human player, adding that it felt "a little like human, but a little like something else".

This year's big Dota 2 tournament is now in its second to last day with only four teams remaining in competition.
