Microsoft falls prey to Windows 10 source code theft

28 June 2017

In a blog post, Microsoft has revealed how the upcoming major update will level up Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection, a Win 10 enterprise service that flags early signs of infection. The staff at Microsoft would then select the images that would make up the final collection in that theme and then it was made available to all Windows 7 users.

This is a big issue because the Malware Protection Engine has been shipped as a built-in service in all Windows OS versions since Windows 7, and is a core component of a series of Microsoft security products such as Windows Defender, Microsoft Security Essentials, Microsoft Endpoint Protection, Windows Intune Endpoint Protection, and Microsoft Forefront Endpoint Protection. The data potentially exposes a plethora of Windows exploits.

A further new tool will also be coming in the form of Windows Defender Application Guard, and this defends applications - primarily the browser, which is the avenue of most attacks - from any malware encountered online, isolating a threat before it can spread to the network and other devices.

Britain-London Fire story
United Kingdom authorities said the use of the panels in Grenfell Tower was in breach of United Kingdom building regulations. The funding is in addition to 5 million pounds ($6.4 million) provided for the Grenfell Tower Residents' Discretionary Fund.

The Exploit Guard features a large set of intrusion rules and policies and Microsoft says that this feature should now help protect organizations better against quite a few advanced threats, including zero day exploits. Device Guard is now also integrated into Windows Defender ATP, which should make it easier to manage for IT and security teams.

Seems as though the Cumulative Update for the Slow Ring gives Microsoft another measuring tool to ensure that Windows 10 updates run as smooth as possible by giving the user more granular control over their update process.

Microsoft started off this last weekend with an embarassing security snafu. While his site has since removed the file, Whyman said that the leak only consisted of 1.2GB of data. By harnessing all the users of the Windows environment, if one user is impacted by a new virus or exploit, protection can be immediately deployed to every other user to stop the malicious application from spreading to new users through the Microsoft Graph. The incident has taken place at the time when computer has become a part of people's daily life and the economy of most of the countries - developing and developed both - is based on digital data being produced on Windows 10 powered computer machines.

Spieth's epic celebration after incredible bunker shot at Travelers
Spieth proceeded to hit his bunker shot to about two feet, made the putt and the duo headed back to the 18th tee. Open last week , the little old Travelers Championship more than made up for it on Sunday night outside Hartford.

It's timely that Microsoft has released a massive slew of updates to the Windows 10 Creators Update.

"When we originally drafted the Windows 10 Enterprise whitepaper, Telemetry had to be turned off to avoid potential disclosures of the 18 identifiers of protected health information at the operating-system level,"said Steven Marco, President and Founder, HIPAA One".

Despite Microsoft's claim, the leaked code of Windows 10 could cause serious consequences for the Windows 10 users.

Lewis Hamilton rejects call to talk from title rival Sebastian Vettel
Vettel insisted he had done nothing wrong but at least tried to cool things down by saying: "I don't have a problem with him". I don't think there is much to sort out. "We had a little contact, but I drove alongside him, mostly to raise my hand".
